Stop worrying about MSU

Yeah they will put up some points, but go watch the highlights of that ASU game they played.. Watch the line play of ASU... then watch the line play of US. There is a HUGE difference, MSU has not played anyone near our level yet.
I know the Vols didn't do a lot of blitzing or stunting last week but Kitna had enough time to pick UT's DBs apart and UAB didn't have an OL who could play at UT. Unless the two starting DTs are back and healthy, State will score points. State rushed for more yards against the Vols last year than any other team in the regular season. Kept it close with a backup QB in Neyland.

Well UAB did. And Syracuse. And Georgia. ETSU came close. We probably only have 2 teams left that don’t score 21 on us. But thankfully we can actually score this year
Let's be real. ETSU And UAB didn't score more than 7 on what miss St will be playing against. Cuse is about as close to Miss St and their QB isn't anywhere near as good as Angeli.

2022: Don’t worry about South Carolina
2023: Don’t worry about Missouri
2024: Don’t worry about Arkansas

Not predicting we are going to lose of course. Just a cautionary tale to not take any game too lightly. This is the SEC after all. And for all of Heupel‘s many successes; we are still not exactly known as Road Warriors yet.
And losing to a bowl less 5-7 bad Billy coached Florida team in Gainesville 2 years ago.

Im just worried cause its Joey's first SEC road game. State is much improved and has a pretty decent defense. Let's hope Joey has some Casey Clausen in him and is a road dog.
First SEC road game, sure, but the man has played lots of football on the road. First game of the season was almost a road game. We have the advantage of being able to lean on our run game to take pressure off JA. We also have the advantage of 3 very capable WR’s to go out there and make plays. I have a feeling it may be a close game until late in the second half, where we eventually pull away - but I guess we shall see.

Against Georgia school for the blind sure. This reminds me of that year that ky started 5-0 and then lost 7 straight.
They won convincingly in Blacksburg and Columbia as underdogs. If you don’t think Vandy is a competitive top 20 team based on what they’ve already done I don’t know what to tell you.

The 1-3 VA Tech team that fired their coach and the 2-2 USCjr team that was 100% rated where they were because Sellers was 100% overrated? Sure. Vandy is mid at best.
