Stop worrying about MSU

Upsets happen, if this team wants to be a juggernaut like the Georgia and Ohio State’s of CFB they go down there and whoop ass like they’re supposed to, but as we’ve seen over the years Tennessee hasn’t quite made it to that level yet. Feels like they’re close but also very far away.
Even that doesn’t happen all the time. They win, of course, but there have been plenty of times they didn’t “whoop ass”

I see a similar game as Syracuse where Tenn has to continue to score to stay ahead because state isnt going away.
The only way I see Tenn losing is if JA has an off day. Like a back-down-to-earth kind of day. Does he have those? Or is he always really good just throws bad picks?
Joey's thrown one "bad" pick, the one into double coverage against Georgia. Staley fell down on his route on the other one against Georgia. Ball was there, Staley wasn't, easy pick by the GA. DB. The one against UAB should have been a PI call. It bounced off Staley and UAB got the deflection. Here's the difference between Joey and Nico, and Milton. Joey throws deep balls with a lot of air under them and lets his WR's go run them down and make a play. Nico and Milton airmailed missiles so long no one was going to catch them. Joey under throws some, but that gives our guy a play on the ball. We've been making them, especially Brazzell, dudes been "Mossing" people. Matthews also made a Willie Mays catch against UAB and a great one against ETSU. If we can stop with the drops we're going to be even more awesome. No one makes 40+ yard throws right in stride every time, like that bomb to Staley against Syracuse. If your miss is a bit of an underthrow we'll make some TD plays, get some PI calls, have some incompletions, and an occasional interception. I'll take Brazzell and 50/50 ball all day! GBO

Never, ever want to create bulletin board material for the opponent. It's gonna be trench warfare this weekend and to look past Miss State is like saying Vandy or KY are never gonna beat us again
yes Mississippi State players and coaches are glued to this board to see what is posted

Never worried. But given the history of us having at least one road clunker per year I am concerned. I look for it to be a shootout, hopefully we can get up by a few scores and take the crowd out of it.

I've been told by everyone he threw some bad picks at app st. I'm aware hes only had 1 bad throw but that was a "oh thats what they were talking about" type of play. It came with the gunslinger mentality.

2022: Don’t worry about South Carolina
2023: Don’t worry about Missouri
2024: Don’t worry about Arkansas

Not predicting we are going to lose of course. Just a cautionary tale to not take any game too lightly. This is the SEC after all. And for all of Heupel‘s many successes; we are still not exactly known as Road Warriors yet.
I'll give you 2022 and 2024, but that 2023 Missouri loss was no fluke. They were a very good football team that year.
