Not predicting we are going to lose of course. Just a cautionary tale to not take any game too lightly. This is the SEC after all. And for all of Heupelā€˜s many successes; we are still not exactly known as Road Warriors yet.

They also have cheap tickets and we have a fan base that travels well and west Tennessee fans that will love the shorter drive down to Starkville. Cowbells are annoying but huepel will have them ready for it

While they give up 135 on the ground, they are stingy through the air with the 26th ranked Defense in the land allowing only 4.28 yds per play and 265.5 total (that's 130.5 in the air).
The back end of their defense is legit, but I don't think they can stop our run and will try to over commit and leave the over the top shots open and get burned.

FWIW - UGA is ranked 39th allowing 299.7 yds total, but their stats are a little skewed since they've only played 3 games and one of those was our game where we put up decent numbers on them.

I like to enjoy every game of every season because there are only so many. So Iā€™m going to focus on MSU this week. If thatā€™s ā€œworryingā€ about them, I guess thatā€™s what Iā€™m doing.

I hope to see this Volunteer team get better this week. Then I want to see an even bigger jump after the bye.

I hope the team isn't thinking like this. Every game in the SEC is dangerous. Anything can happen.
