LSU wanted Miles gone......They just lost to Troy.
Ole Miss lost Freeze.....Bama just hung 60+ on them.
If you replace Butch, you better damn well know what you're getting. Look around you people......the grass isn't always greener on the other side.
Chip Kelly isn't coming to Knoxville. Anyone we'd consider would be a risk. Are you really ready to cash in?

It's LONG over. And if Kelly says no, there's 100 coaches out there that'd do better than Butch.

Right...because it could get so much worse than losing 41-0 at home....

Worst loss in the entire storied history of Neyland Stadium. A shameful, embarrassing performance. It is time.

It's way past over dude. He should be fired before Monday. No way Butch can cliche his way out of this.

Well he never got shutout...

So you're gonna sit here and tell me Dooley is a better coach? I hope to God the people making the decisions are a little more thoughtful than you. No offense.

You sure about that? How bout Dooley?

Butch will leave Tennessee in a better place than Dooley did, but Butch is clearly not going to get Tennessee back to the top teir of the SEC. If being top teir is what we want, Butch has to go

For all practical purposes, the 2017 season is over. We have a minimum of 3 SEC losses with a probable shutout from Alabama, and toss-ups against USCe, Kentucky, Vandy, and LSU. With an act of God himself we end up 5-3 at best, which will be good for tied for 3rd in the SECe.

With no chance to make it to the SECCG, we're playing too see which 2nd tier bowl we can go to and beat up on a terrible Big 10 team.

We really have a lot more experience hiring than those programs at this point...

Nope, it's over. If he has any scruples, he will resign so we can move on and so can he!

REALLY??? Start naming them. Because what I've seen the chances of going down is much greater than going up. There's not many great coaches out there. There's not even a large amount of good coaches. Most coaches are on the level of Butch Jones. Sad to say but it's true.
