Most fans that called for Fulmer dismissal, Thought that he was the cause of our program slipping.
The logic was: if we replace Phil, then the program can immediately begin to improve. Catch it NOW, before it falls any further
They also thought Tennessee was a desirable program, that any top coach would want to work for. That assessment was wrong

Dude seriously? We’re tennesseee. We do DESERVE wins and championships. Period. Vandy will never have a better program than us. They could win 20 straight national championships and they will never have the better program.

We don’t deserve wins if our Administration keeps making a half ass effort to care about the culture of our program.

You are correct. Most fans are die hard fans. Some fans may not be very football knowledge but have genuine love for UT
However, venting and being critical of our players and coaches on this site is not good. I would guess parents of recruits might tune in to this site occasionally and see bad comments

Get out of here with that nonsense. Do you honestly think we're the only fan base that does this? Have you seen the Michigan boards? They're probably losing their freaking minds after that beat down they caught this weekend, and most likely giving their coaches and players down the road. I'd also bet it's worse cause they had a shot at the CFP, now it's gone.

Fans being critical happens every where, we're not some magical place that we're the only ones doing it. These players and coaches can do one of two things with the information they might see on here, either A.) Let it get to them and cause them to suck even more, or B.) Use it as motivation to prove everyone wrong. So far we've seen that a lot of the players are taking option A.

Tennessee fans seem to think we deserve this or that because we play in front of 100K, or fans travel good, 50k at Volwalk yea that's all fine and good but other schools do just as much or have great stadiums with many many fans. Other programs have gotten better each year while we had slid into the slums because of hiring 2 guys who had no clue. Like it or not it is going to take 4-5 years to be competitive year in and year out. That's just how it is. We as fans are partial to our beloved Neyland and all the TN traditions but wake up fans all other schools have the same things in different fashions.
