You mis-understood the part of our fanbase being a joke obviously. If you look out there THEY THINK WE ARE A JOKE! Not me. But it does drive home the point of us eating our own. GOOD JOB! Sheeez

Don't kid yourself, nothing is going to save it at this point. It's not the world vs UT, it's the world vs UT fans. When the administration has betrayed us too we are truly screwed.

Why are we a joke? Clay Travis has been hammering at this all morning. We are the consumers who buy the tickets and fill the seats. We have an AD that DIDN'T CALL ANYBODY, because Schiano was the guy all along. It's possible he totally sabotaged the Gruden talks. Show me another big time fan base that is going to sit quiet. Gators fired Mac after 2 successive trips to ATL, just because he couldn't beat GA. We have a right to a say in what happens to our school, especially when we've got the wrong people in charge.

The Cubs sucked for decades until what happened? They got a new owner (e.g. board of regents) who hired a New general manager (e.g. athletic director) who was empowered to do whatever it took to be a winner. Hire a great coach (Madden) and develop great talent.

It’s turned out well. Lots of parallels here.

What is it going to take for us to have some common sense in this? Les Miles may or may not bring championship, but he is sitting there and available. He knows how to steady things and run a program. Players and team will rally behind him. Let him hire a good OC, and get us back to competing. What is so complicated about this. He's about the only name that everyone's going to say, "I'm good".
