The next time you folks feel the urge to post a link to yet another columnist's drivel about one freaking comment by Lane Kiffin and how that tells them all they need to know about the future of our head coach, please remember the great Nancy Reagan and... Just Say No!

Or at least make one thread where they will be all in one thread instead of the whole first page! :)

CLK is on a unique learning curve being a SEC coach, even though he's been a college assistant on a great team. He's ruffled some feathers(egos)in his start-up but I'm impressed so far. IMO the balance of the SEC coaching fraternity has failed him in that he did'nt receive much of a welcome that I've seen before he started getting critism not much less than the back of a hand. But in his position, as weak as the VOLS have become up till the coaching change in our rivals eyes he has GOT to be the badass. This program is in dire need of some swagger and confidence, and I think so far he's on the right track and I look forward to Autumn. We'll see some losses yes but I think whoever beats the Vols will know they've had to earn it, and thats all I ask as a fan.

The reason I started coming to VN was to find all the articles about the Vols (good and bad) that I could. If you lump them together then that defeats the purpose as I'm not perusing 10-20+ pages of a thread looking for something. If you don't want to hear different opinions then don't click on the links. It would be ridiculous to lump them all into one thread.

There used to be a hot-n-fresh links forum where they put all the big news. Don't know whatever happened to that.

I'm in nashville and they haven't stopped talking about it yet. I'm tired of hearing about it.

Most of us either live or have resided in the great state of Tennessee....where we were taught it was our obligation to :banghead2: , :horse: and never :mf_surrender:

We wil continue with the discussions at hand....until we are presented with another that is more compelling!!

The recuriting miscues by CLK is still page 1 material.
