Every time we break these freaking scenarios down we blow it. We did it in SC doing it again in candy. Which by the freaking way we lost. This team is not full of losers or terrible players. Its coached by (at best) an mid american conference staff. This is pitiful. I have never been so ashamed and so embarrassed to be a tennsee fan. Call me whAt you want but ive been through all of them. I am a season ticket holder. But something has to change. We went from sec east champs to second best in the state! Blame injuries if you would like but the only reason we won half of what we did this year is because of the integrity of the players not because of the coaching. I love these players. Day in day out they give their all to tennessee but the coaches collect a check and give the same damn speaches! I cant even listen to butch anymore. Its the same stuff every time. Its really time to move on. What a great recruiter and gotta love him for that, but we have falln beyond depths we should. Its time to spend the money for an appropriate coach. We have talent on the field. But not on the mics. Something has got to give. Dont tell me im alone. Its time alright. Time to move on!

Well said. 2 plays different and this team is 6-6. The players don't deserve it, and this state does not deserve it. The talent was there to win the east and be playing next week. What we have is a snake oil salesman that even James Franklin would envy.

I agree. I hate that our players have had to suffer through this. Based on our talent, we should be preparing for our trip to ATL next week. Based on coaching, I'm surprised we are even bowl eligible. I simply cannot defend Butch anymore. Whatever happens, happens. I will be in Neyland next year supporting Team 121, but changes on the coaching staff MUST happen!

I think our coaches are doing the best they can.....they're just not very good

I kinda agree with other posters, we are unfortunately stuck with Jones until the AD business is sorted out.......not to mention where the finances stand. That said, if he isn't going then some on the staff HAVE to. OL coaches are my first choice by far, DB coaches second. Won't miss Azzani if he left. Won't say it's their fault but they are responsible, and a change is needed.....mix it up.

Not the first time I've eaten crow.

Crow with a side of Vandy is the worst I've ever had.

For everything I've tried to be a sunshine pumping optimist about I can't forgive the offense slowing down.

No way I can rewatch that mess but it seemed offense tried to slow the game down after pushing the lead back to 10 in the 2nd half.

Our offense has only worked scoring fast and even faster this year. Every time we have tried to slow it down we end up punting and turning the ball over all season and last season.

I've been able to over look not playing big boy football and winning at the line of scrimmage when we had success playing small ball with counters and mis-direction out of a hurry up set.

To stop doing the only thing that works for us and let Vandy win is unforgivable.
