If Tennesseee fans wants change STOP going to games, stop buying merchandise, stop with the "we will be better next year" b.s. the media loves to make fun of. It's the only way to get the attention of the university and maybe just maybe they will hire a big name vs a div II coach. End of the day all that matters is money, if you keep spending nothing changes.

Not going to flame you but I will not stop supporting the team. The administration knows the product is trash.

I agree but not enough fans willing to make their voices heard. Most would rather sit and complain as we continue to get destroyed. I am out as long as Butch is in the seat.

Absolutely. This is unacceptable. No reason at all, none, zero, nada, zip that our offense should be THIS bad. Jones and Scott need to be fired before the game ends. That goal line series is the perfect microcosm of our offense this season.

Are we really supporting our team by accepting incompetent coaches. Our money can make bigger changes than the donors. 100,000 empty seats each weekend is a lot of finances.

You will be disappointed if you think UT will hire a big name coach. It's happened once- John Majors, who was a UT alumni. It will be an up and comer.

He's 100% right. You might not want to admit it, or hear it. But, until you stop going to the sporting events and giving them money no REAL change will ever happen.

Over the last 10 years, it is a fact, that the UTAD has spent more money on facilities, coaches and administrators then ever before. What have we, the fans, received for this? The worst overall sports production, I mean all sports, in the history of our school. So, sorry to bring the facts, but that is truth.

Don't be such a dullard..... Butch's goose is cooked whether they fire him today or after the season. It's over man..... let it go

1. Fans will keep attending the games because they don’t get it
2. UT will continue to see good revenue from tickets and apparel
3. Butch will get a contract extension

You people forget. Before Saban Bama was pretty much where we are now. They went thru 4 HC's in 10 years until their admin woke up and hired a proven big named coach and opened their wallets up....

Well there in lies the question, does the UT admin really care about winning? It's been shown that the fans will support this team, so the revenue would be there to make up for any coaching salary.

Especially if they are winning. So does the administration want a winner or do they want a so-so team, that will most likely make a lower tier bowl, which we sell out our allotment of tickets each year.

Sadly the only way to affected the administration is to stop going and pumping money into the athletic department. Even then they might not higher a big name coach
