We are looking at a 2-10 year at best and sadly the admin could care less. The only way they might start even thinking to care is if the stadium is mosty devoid of UT fans and mercy sales decline to almost nothing.

Even then they will just blame the fans and say we should’ve stayed out of the Schiano hire. We just need to face reality and accept that UT will be nothing more than a second tier football team from here out.

Our best shot at returning to being relevant is to stop looking for the big name or SEC experienced hire and go find the small school or div III coach that can take a garbage roster and get the most out of them. But if we keep going with these coaches with their too big egos, then we will keep getting coaches that insist that if the square peg would just go into the round hole then we would win and hisbsystem would be proven.

How is it that UNC can hire Mack Brown and in a single season has them looking like world beaters? We hire Pruitt and Vols are talking 5 year rebuilding program? That's stupid ...especially for $4M/year

It was probably more for the fact he admitted to being a Vol fan than for wearing a homemade shirt.

There with you on that one. Remembering beating Notre Dame and the getting romped by Rutgers the next game. So many ups and downs during those years conditioned for anything that would hit the program later on. Go ahead Majors fans, light me up. I for one didn't care much for him.

A lot of things in life are worth more than watching football.... especially crappy football. Had this game been in the afternoon I wouldn’t have watched any of it. Kinda mad at myself for bothering with it at all.

They talk big, but it's in the blood. I've probably spouted off like that a few times since '65 myself. Still here taking my shots and heartbreaks from this team. Gave up trying to give up on this program. My falls would be a helluva lot more enjoyable if I could ditch the orange. :(

There is one thing the administration listens to, and it is money. It is sad to say, but it is true. I'm sure Phil knows the fans are upset, I'm sure CJP and his staff knows it. Does that cause change? No.

I have been a fan for 45 years. In that length of time I cannot remember seeing a TN QB so poorly developed. I have never seen a rotating O line where 5 guys cannot have continuity. I have never before witnessed a defense that cannot get lined up, and half of the DB play cover 1 when it is supposed to be cover 3. It is inexcusable. What in the world did this staff spend spring and fall camp doing? Why can other teams put in a Freshman, and they know what they are supposed to do. We have upper classmen that play like they are afraid to break a nail.

Many pay good money to go to games. I have. Many make donations to the program and university. It is about time that the fans get a little ROI. I fully understand why and how the majority of fans are fed up with the product on the field, and understand the only voice that gets heard has pictures of dead presidents printed on them.

My sons name is Peyton. And I mean it when I say I think i am done watching the games. I’m just not going to pay attention much to UT football anymore. Not going to say I’m not a fan anymore, because I am. But I am probably just going to follow another team. I’m not going to the games. Won’t be buying a bunch of merchandise, just doesn’t feel right....but I am legitimately just going to do something else with my time. Because watching UT football IS a waste of time. It’s honestly the most pointless thing I do with my spare time.
