'...here’s what Stoops had to say about the upcoming environment during his Monday press conference:

“Come on, we’ve had Notre Dame and Florida State prior to that. We’ve been on this stage before. We’ll have the music blaring in the stadium this week for every road game this season,” Stoops said. “It shouldn’t be any different. It’s exciting but exciting things happen in any stadium across the country,” Stoops said. “In the end, we’ll be on the field like every other game ready to go.

“All of those guys have played in big games on the road,” Stoops said. “We go on the road all the time. I have a hard time understanding all the questions about a stadium. When we go somewhere, it’s usually not half full.”

I would assume that there's a difference between a loud radio and...
feeling the ground shake between your feet.
Maybe it's just me:rolleyes:

I'm pretty sure Neyland will be more than half full (this isn't the Big 12) but Stoops has been here twice before with Florida. He knows what to expect.

This isn't Kentucky or Vandy Coach and none of the ones you mentioned hold anywhere close to 102K... You will see for yourself!

Someone print this out and put a copy of it on every business in Knoxville. Every mail box within 300 miles.

Why would he be impressed?

Checker Neyland vs Florida?

The last several years?

Neyland hasn't mattered in a long time. Hopefully that can change this week.

he is not impressed with our defense and there is really nothing to worry about.

Excuse me, I gotta make a trip to the liquor store for some Jack, and to the Walgreens for some Ludens.

I would like to see Oklahoma and Virginia Tech join the SEC if the SEC decides to expand in the future.

Thoughts?

I've got a feeling that Neyland will be as loud as it was when Georgia was here in '13 and possibly the '04 Florida game.
