106 is doubtful.. My father in law had a temp of 107 and it caused some crazy condition called hypo blah blah blah. Anyways it caused some serious nerve damage and he wouldn't have survived if he hadn't been in a hospital. The staff at ut medical center us the reason hes alive. Period.

Edit: his temp reached 110, but you get the point.
