If he's smart he'll declare for the draft without signing an agent so he can take a look around while still preserving his eligibility. Since I doubt he'd be a first-rounder, this year anyway, the move from there is to come back, play his senior year, and take a serious look into football. I'd venture to say he can already catch. If he learns to block and run a few simple routes, dude could be worth millions in the league.

And improve his mid range jumper and he can make millions in the NBA

When will he announce his decision? Is there any news or even rumors about how he is leaning? What are his considerations? Has he said anything about needing to be a likely first rounder in order to leave?

I am suprised there isn't more speculation or discussion on this given it's such a huge factor for the program. If stokes stays, next year can be another good season. But if he leaves it will be a rebuilding year.

Here's hoping Stokes comes back for one more season!

There's not more discussion because there's nothing to discuss, it's not that people don't understand the significance.

He has until April 27th to announce his decision.

He's projected as a mid-late 2nd rounder and that could go down as more underclassmen declare for the draft.

Right now he appears to be around 50/50 on what he's going to do.

Who knows? I would hope with the draft grade he has received he will be inclined to come back, unless hes got a thing for the nbdl or europe

Thanks. I am just anxious for this I guess! It would great to have him back. I think we could be a good team with him back for another season.

Where he is drafted has nothing to do with where he will play.....I would about guarantee he will make a roster.

He gone IMO.

I have heard that the coaching staff thinks he is 80/20 on returning or leaving. Biggest reason for the strong return is this os such a strong draft class and the staff thinks with another year of developing his game further he would be a possible middle to high first rounder for the 2015 draft.

I don't disagree, but where he is drafted makes a BIG difference in the $$$. Outside of the 1st round and he is better off to come back for his Sr. season. The draft may not be as loaded next year.
