NO ACTIONS!!!!! Yall told me that Fulmer was gone after UGA game, then it was the Bama game, and then he was gonna step down after last nights game, still waiting here. I hate to even crack to this level but you wanna know what the real problem with this team is? Dave Clawson and The players, Clawson's shotty play calling gets us screwed every time and then him, bringing Crompton into the game, oh yeah, real smart move jackass, this ain't Richmond University, GET OVER IT. Another thing is Foster even admitted it was them, it was the players, the team. He mentions it in an article from last nite after the ball game on Go Vols Xtra, check it out if you ain't seen it yet. He goes on to talk to about how they make mistakes too often: VERY TRUE!!!!
Talks about No Emotion, Quit Blaming Fulmer, sounds like the players need to pick their heads up and start acting like they are proud to wear that orange and white and quit lolly gagging around and win some ball games.

Emotion... Mistakes... Attitude... The team... It all starts at the top.

I like Fulmer, too, but it is time.

Fulmer is the man getting paid millions to make sure the team is well coached and prepared for every game. If the team doesn't perform, he is ultimately responsible. Why do so many people want to sugarcoat the situation and act like Fulmer has nothing to do with it?

One question maniac. How many of those $3000 bets did you decide to cover?

He's the coach, I give you that, but he can't go out on that field and play for them, they have to play, all he can do is talk to them in practice and they have to take over and win games, but obviously that isn't getting done, sounds like the kids are lacking heart and are not playing mean enough, damnit, be nasty about it, just freaking kill people when your out there, they don't do that, they have no heart, probably one of the worst senior classes we have ever had.

What's your source? How do you know Fulmer isn't leaving. There are many people, Dave Hooker, etc. who have spoken with credible sources that suggest Fulmer is indeed gone. Who have you gotten your info from?

Tennessee is not devoid of talent. It's Fulmer and his staff's responsibility to develop the players and make them realize their potential. There hasn't been much player development happening in Knoxville lately.

Look, I am a Fulmer supporter, but there are a few problems with your post.

1.) Fulmer changes quite a few of the play calls. He's admitted it. Clawson has admitted it. You can't blame all of this on clawson.

2.) Do you really think an OC is going to tell a Head coach what players to put in the game? No. That QB change was from Fulmer. Even if Clawson requested it, Fulmer approved it. Who do you think runs a company, the VP or the president?

I cheer for UT as hard as anyone, but 2 losing seasons in 4 years is just not getting it done.

If Clawson was the problem, the O wouldn't have been awful last year and in 05.

I hate to say it, but I also think Fulmer stays. Tajh Boyd mentioned in an interview yesterday that he talked to Hamilton, and from their discussions, it seemed like there wouldn't be any changes made. That, plus the fact that nothing has happened after all these losses so far, leads me to think that one or two more losses isn't going to be enough for him to leave.

If Fulmer isn't fired at this point, then the University obviously cares nothing about the football program. They can't just sit back and allow this to continue.

You can't do anything with an OL as pitiful as ours. How these guys have gotten so bad over a year's time is beyond me. These guys are PATHETIC.. it kills our rushing game, it doesn't give the QB time to throw, and right now they are just a massive waste of space on a football field.

:banghead2: 4 sacks allowed last year... 6 sacks allowed last night :banghead2:

What would you expect him to say? I am just impressed that Go Vols Xtra has apparently found a Pterodactyl interpreter.

Jesus Christ buddy, you wanna stay topside of that rock for a while??? I think you need to spend some more time out from under the rock so you can 'see the light' so to speak...

If you or anyone else can't see that Fulmer has lost this team, and it's time for a change then you're living in the dark... That Foster quote i found particularily funny since the fumble-mo-tron hasn't done jack squat this year, his senior "leadership" has been superb. :lolabove:

I have a friend who talks to a guy that dates a waitress who served Freak breakfast one day, and he told me that Fulmermaniac is actually Urban Meyer.

Here's a copy and paste of a post made in another thread, maniac. You have to realize that when a program sinks to the level Tennessee has the coach has to be blamed.

Everyone needs to realize they're not gonna announce Fulmer is gone til the season ends. They want him to not have to finish the season as a fired coach so he can retain at least a modicum of respect due to his loyalty to the university for so many years. Don't worry, it'll happen when the season is over.<!-- google_ad_section_end -->

I think Fulmermaniac has switched his stance on this issue 4 or 5 times since he has been here.
