Let me first say I work out in the middle of hell, aka gator land. I'm a construction inspector on a 4 lane, six mile, highway near Zolfo Springs, FL. 5 miles of the project is bordered by a large farm owned by none other than Ben Hill Griffin IV. I wear my Tennessee hat everyday to work and I have to say I've heard so many snickers and whispers around town when I walk by. Everyone around this area are gator fans. Even though no confrontation occurrd I really thought about punching some guy in the face just because he was wearing a gator hat and he was talking about the game.
It hurts bad. You people might not have to deal with it but everyone around here are gator fans and they come iut in droves when they win.

Dooley should have had this team ready and he didn't.

Still a fragile bunch. I think that lack of a top notch RB and Justin playing scared cost UT 14 points --at a time when they could have gone up by three scores. The O-line was plowing some holes----then, and the defense was TCB---too. JMO.

Actually good news.........we woke up Monday morning and discovered UT is a Basketball School.... :eek:lol:

Do the manly thing....don't point out the flaws in their new highway. Perhaps a sinkhole will develop this winter and kill a couple of dozen of them

Not just. It's also a multi-billion dollar business funded by $$$ coming from the fanbases through ticket, concession, & merchandise sales and advertising dollars also looking to garner $$$ from viewing audiences.

Football also provides the livelihood for numerous coaches and assorted staffs as well as broadcasters and talking heads and their staffs & support personnel. There are people working in the marketing industries that are significantly dependent on revenue from football programs.

The list of people living off of football is extremely long so while it is true that it is a game played by kids, it is also true that there are thousands of adults who make their living off of what those kids do or don't do on the field.

The way I see it, Bray needs to pull a Tim Tebow and come out crying in the press conference about how he let his team down and they were going to win out. That way, if they win out, they go to the NC anyways.

Growing up in bama I know exactly how you feel. So many years during some of the winning streaks they had on us we were the better team and somehow still found a way to lose. I kept on wearing my orange just like you though.

Win or lose, always a Vol!
