Every game will have a call that goes against you or for you which could change the outcome. The best thing is to win enough plays/score enough that you have insurance against such bad calls. If you live on the razors edge of victory/defeat you are going to get cut. Heupel needs to get his team to play at a higher level, minimize mistakes.

I think any pi call that negates a score should be reviewed before points are taken off the board. That wouldn’t be too many, games are long anyways and their clock adjustments have no shortened the game, just allowed more commercials!

The official nearest the play, who didn't throw a flag, needs to have the stones to tell the guy who threw it even though he was across the field to pick the damn flag up.
This! It’s not controversial. And while we’re at it, maybe send a memo out to the refs that holding is still in the rule book as a foul. UT gets held more than any team in the country and the refs just watch like they bought a ticket

Glad it didn’t end up costing us the game. But i feel terrible for Aguilar and Brazzell not getting the yards and TDs that their stats deserved.
That would have put Joey over 400 yards and given Brazzell another TD on what has so far been an incredible season

PI is not reviewable, true-- but it should be especially when it could be a game winning or losing TD involved. They even review the spot of the ball over a simple first down, and that's just a quick judgement call sometimes. If there's any doubt as to the possibility that the guy just fell down,it should be reviewed.

Maybe they discussed- unsure.

Idk how it works if refs are in disagreement. I’m assume the head ref makes the call?

But in this case, maybe the ref throwing the flag convinced the official near the play.

Agree - one challenge per game - similar to NBA. Coaches can challenge a foul call. That’s not the case in NCAAM but I like the NBA rule.

CJH might get more help from the refs when he stops the fake injuries on extra points. There is really no reason to do that now we have depth.
