Growing up in Nashville the 3rd week in October was the best week ever. Alabama/Tennessee week was always the one at school that more kids argued about who was going to win. Now days with the East and West Div. I see Vol fans more interested in Florida than Alabama. This is still a special week, but I think it has lost some of its glamour.

As I mentioned last week I wanted to get by SC then have fun with this week. If we do not throw the ball better, like we did in the first 5 games we are in trouble. Not that we will lose but it could be closer than we want. Your defense it good and if you have a good ball control offense that day it could get interesting. But if we can control the ball with our running game I think our depth (Finally) will wear your defense down.

I look for a good hard hitting game. I want this to be a classic but of course with us winning. Hope no injuries and I get to smoke a BIG CIGAR as I leave Tuscaloosa. Lets strap them on. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!

I am seventeen and I hate bama. However, I do agree with you. The game is still a rivalry in every vols eye's, however (pending from person to person) I grew up hating UF and UGA more just because we would always beat bama. I know the whole penalties they faced that most likely caused that, but growing up I never saw bama as a threat. However, Saban has definitely increased my hate for bama (because they are actually relivent. Believe it or not, Saban is a great coach and recruiter and he and Kiffin are similar in how much they recruit, how they don't let up on a recruit, and how they are determined to win no matter what. It looks like this rivalry will get heated up soon. I expect within five years the SEC championship game will be nothing more than the third sat. in October v.2.0. So hopefully this rivalry will be in full effect starting this year (hopefully with a UT win).

I'm hoping we can pull off one of those classics like we did in the NC game in 98 and hold Ingram to just 23 yards. GO VOLS!!

I care more about this game than I do any other sporting event of the year. My grandad hated Alabama, my dad hated Alabama, and I hate Alabama. My son is four years old and he already knows that Alabama is evil.

Around the bowl and down the hole, roll Tide roll.

GO BIG ORANGE

YouTube - Pink Floyd - Have a Cigar
Come in here, Dear boy, have a cigar.
You're gonna go far,
You're gonna fly high,
You're never gonna die,
You're gonna make it, if you try;
They're gonna love you.
Well I've always had a deep respect,
And I mean that most sincere.
The band is just fantastic,
that is really what I think.
Oh by the way, which one's Pink?

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

We're just knocked out.
We heard about the sell-out.
You gotta get an album out.
You owe it to the people.
We're so happy we can hardly count.
Everybody else is just green,
Have you seen the chart?
It's a hell of a start,
It could be made into a monster
If we all pull together as a team.

And did we tell you the name of the game, boy?
We call it Riding the Gravy Train.

This is what the players and coaches are listening to this week

It's definitely a "rival game" to those who old enough to know the history. I hate Florida, and the UGA game is a big game in recruiting....but this is THE ONE.
