I am asking freak to sticky this for all the ungrateful fans. I AM EXCITED about COACH Dooley, If you watch him on the sideline he is eneergetic, and his players LOVE him! He will surround himself with a great staff, and be VERY successful at UT and be here for a good amount of time! You will be eating your CROW on this one VOLNATION!

One thing we know to be true is that he's got a better W-L record than Lane Kiffin did. I don't know much about him personally, but I think it is safe to assume he's got more integrity than Kiffin.

I look forward to learning more about him. If we don't get at least 7 wins next year and do well in recruiting though, I think it should be Mike Hamilton's last hire.

I'm very uneasy about this hire. Could be great, could be terrible. I'll re-evaluate this fall. At least its not Cut or Fulmer.

I agree...I wasn't sure at first, but after reading up on him (tigerdroppings has very complimentary thread about him) I am excited about the hire.

I don't know if he will win at Tennessee or not. I do know that he's got more class than Ki###n, and he was smart enough to name his kid Peyton.

The thing is, if he has any kind of success at UT (which I doubt), he'll Kiffinate us as soon as the UGA job becomes vacant (which I could see happening in the next 2-3 years).

Wasn't my first choice, but I'm 100% behind him. The more I read and hear about him the more I think he has a shot at being a very good coach for us. I look forward to seeing him at the presser.

I'd like to know how the coaching search actually went, but he's on of us now and I will fully support him. If CDD is able to salvage this recruiting class, people will jump the on the bandwagon quickly....well, except Hat.

Sticky This...I'm going to just say a bunch of crap and use exclamation points after every sentence and I'm going to be right. Since this will never get stickied because I made such generalized statements about happiness it's a win win for me!!!!!!!!

I'm with you. This guy is stepping into a job with a Volunteer heart. Apparently nobody wanted this job at this time, and he is doing this job for us because we asked him to do it. He is coming into this job as an underdog, and in my view that is a good thing. It is part of our heritage, and we will rise to fight like the scrappy Tennessee underdog Volunteers who fought and died in the War of 1812. I want him to be a success and you know he wants it, too. We need to support him and get behind him, because he is our coach. Give him a chance. If it doesn't work out, fine, criticize, yell, cuss and scream. But now... let's celebrate our good fortune. We have a young, energetic coach. Go Vols!

Maybe not...his daddy was an Alabama boy who played at Auburn. He is a Georgia coaching legend.

there sure is a lot of hate toward a guy no one knows.....do you people not know recruits read this stuff also....give him a chance
