Haven’t followed this season much. Didn’t Stevenson retire to enter professional wrestling? Anyway, I’d say that upset was on par with Gable losing his senior year.

He retired and then came back. The guy is a gold medal winner and one of the greatest ever.

I’ve seen a top end high school senior beat a collegiate national champ before….but a world gold medal winner losing like that is something crazy.

What an incredible upset! Ranks with Gabel v Owings and Gardner v the Russian Bear.

Stevenson got in on a couple of shots in the first period but did not finish. It's hard to believe, but I think he got gassed. He wasn't able to escape after giving up the last takedown. I thought he was gonna escape and send it to overtime.

Talking to Hendrickson before the match was bad karma.
