I am calling BS on that. Pearl has played pretty good D lately----I think he had 4 steals in the FL game, and was very active last night. A guy works his buttt off just to MAYBE get in a game and you guys scrutinize his every move? If every player worked as hard and played as hard as Pearl, Ut would be a much better team.

I know-----bring back the dope smoker and keep Pearl on the bench. Something is wrong here. :ermm:

not really. You can at least have a shot at an offensive board with Williams but no chance when a fan is throwing the ball back to the ref. SP should just never put the ball on the ground (that is if they actually throw it to him)

I just wanted to mention that Pearl had about three really nice passes out there tonight.

He's a bit of a liability on D. He looks uncomfortable or out of position a lot.

That said, he does some good things too.

Although he really should work on his foul shots. A lot. He should work on them a lot.

I will take Pearl over a guy who's biggest basketball statistic is loosing 100lbs since coming to UT any day.

I cant tell you about PPG or Rpg but I can verify that Brian Williams has lost over 100lbs since stepping on campis.

He plays hard, draws fouls and occaisonally makes a good pass. I really only have 2 issues: him handling the ball and the FT shooting. The article says the FT shooting was all mental. I hope that's accurate and he continues to improve there.

SP gives us 5 fouls and tough defense, tired guys can't give tough D.

Tired of all the negativity surrounding him!!!!! He gives 100% all the time,stays out of trouble and makes good grades. Time for some of you to show the love to the Vol family and quit complaining.

When you're shooting 23% at the line, that's not just a mental issue. He just sucks at shooting.

You're right.

There's nothing I love more than to see his shots get deposited into the 3rd row of seats by an opposing player's hand.

Wow. "Playing 100%" got him 3 fouls and a trip back to the bench. Counting down the games to where we don't see him except in blowouts.

He had a bad day, but so did most of our players. We can't put this one on Stephen. It wasn't like we lost by one or two points.
