I'm a Gator fan & love Spurrier for what he did for us, but I don't see him as being the solution for you. After all the jokes he made at Fulmer & UT's expense (you can't spell Citrus without UT, etc) I doubt that many fans/boosters would share your sentiments either.

IMO, SOS is too old to take on such a challenge. Tenn has probably lost some of the top players from this year's recruiting class & the players you have returning are very average. The Kiffin debacle has set your program back several years; turning things around here will take a minimum of 3-4 years.
