Kiner, like many of us, has an opinion. but he knows fulmer personally, and i'm sure that's where a lot of this is coming from. hard not to be. i don't really disagree with him, it's not like you can refute the opinion.
but what did get from his opinion is similar to what i think is really going on over there, the indecision and inability to make a decision stems from a lot of personal agendas.
it's not like Kiner offered up any real reasons why Fulmer would be better than blackburn. heck, he didn't have any information on blackburn except to say "yeah, he's a good businesman". very insightful stuff there.
take it for what it is. a fluff piece displaying the affections from one VFL and friend, to the other. nothing in Kiner's comments made be believe any differently about the viability of Fulmer as an AD, or not. all i got out of it is Kiner wants his friend to have the job.
