Stetson Bennett...

Against SEC teams, Bennett is completing 63.3% Hooker 71.8%, and look who we've played compared to them.

Pressure Bennett, contain him, and don’t let Bowers run free in the secondary are the keys to victory.

Two dominant TEs come to mind in huge matchups, that the Vols have faced, and we had no chance to contain ...

1990 Florida & 2003 Miami

... both ended up in lockdown performances by our D. One even featured a soldier 🤣😄🙄

After playing whack-a-mole with Bryce our guys should be pretty good at catching a less slippery QB.

Snooping their boards on and off and a bunch of them have been saying he doesn’t run/move this season like he used to and they’re wondering if something is wrong with him. 🤷‍♀️
This was from the Auburn game a few weeks ago. The lil f-er is fast.

I'm not of the opinion that he's "good". He is decent. All he does is what he's asked to do. And that's to get the ball out of his hands into a playmaker's and try not to mess up. He won't be playing pro most likely. If he does, I can't really see him starting over the talent that goes in there every year and is already there. You won't see him either making the kinds of throws that Hooker can. Put him at some place like Vandy or any other team that doesn't have the talent and I think he would struggle. Their offense is pretty good, but I can't see them winning a shootout against ours.

Bennett has built his career off of being underestimated. He manages a game well, is sneaky fast, and has played on the biggest of stages. He has also thrown for more yards than Hooker this season, which is hard to believe. Someone earlier compared him to Danny Wuerffel, which is a good comparison - no matter the circumstances we couldn’t beat that guy. I hope it’s different with Bennett.

He reminds me most of Joe Hamilton that played for Georgia Tech in the late 90's when Tech was pretty good. He was the QB for Tech the year we won the national championship and they went 10-2 and beat UGA that year I think. Stetson Bennett is basically the same dude except he is white and Joe was black. Stetson isn't a game manager, he's an undersized athlete at QB. He'll have no NFL career but he's pretty good for the college level.

College and pro,are 2 different games. Ask Tebow…….
Bennett is a NC quarterback playing in the SEC. Pretty dang good but no better than 3rd or 4th best in SEC.
