Stereotypically Tenn. is.........

I can only speak with some certainty about the guys from the "U" and a couple of guys from UT. They don't dislike him. However, I don't think Clinton Portis is going to be inviting him to the next party he throws at Pure Platinum. You should hang out in a club with some of those guys, it might loosen you up a little.

I saw all the Playboy mansion girls gush over him on tv the other day.

A moment of seriousness from me: I don't dislike Manning. However, IMG could want to put him in those roles and it wouldn't matter. His image would never fit the products. Brady, for example, hits the marks perfectly for those companies. Also, I'll guarantee Tiger is contractually obligated to drive a Buick at least an appreciable portion of the time.

Yeah, right.:lolabove: :lolabove:

To dislike someone, they have to matter to you. If Manning pulled a Judge Force and was never seen again, I wouldn't really notice. What I do dislike are the mouthbreathing, half witted rubes who act as if he invented UT football and will cure cancer and restore the polar ice caps after he gets done studying game film. Those people I most certainly detest.

What? You mean he can't?

Haha, there is alot of people that think that. I am a Vols fan and a Titans fan, first and foremost. I was glad to see Peyton get the monkey off his back and I like seeing a former Vol do well, but I don't think he loves the state of Tennessee the way the state loves him. Congrats to him, but I still boo when the Colts come to LP Field.

i know i said earlier about UT being bad on 3rd downs and i was speaking on the defensive side of the ball, we seem to give up the biggests plays on 3rd down.

save me eric berry!!

Yes, but it was more of a problem in 2005, but you surely have to factor in the fact the D played A LOT more in 2005.

Defense on 3rd downs is a totally different story. While the offense is 9th in the nation on 3rd downs, the defense is 85th in the nation.
