Like I said early no offense to Nick but he showed he was not D1 material. When you have 3 coaches telling you the same thing, you should be getting the hint. Also if he got this down about losing the first team reps, then he was not in a good mental stage to be our QB.JMO

Trashing the program will just confirm he didn't have the character required for the starting qb position. I guess quitting at the first bump in the road does as well.

has been putting on a uniform and practicing for at least 150 days a year, for four years, in the hope of playing QB. That is paying dues, and so I completely understand why he wants to play--even if it's impractical to transfer now. It's too bad.

Man, the Vols have had more freakin' problems over the last three years than 10 schools--it's one damn thing after another. I've never seen anything like it.

I wish Nick the best. A successful SEC quarterback has to be a leader and have confidence in himself. Talent alone is not enough. A good coach could help him with that (I.E. Crompton last year), but It might take half a season. It is best for all that Nick is transferring. Simms has the confidence, I just hope he has the talent and stamina to go along with it. Personally, I think Bray will be the better quarterback. I hope he does not decide to transfer also.

Stephens has spent his whole career losing first team reps. This shows his problem he is NOT willing to spend a week trying to get them back. As a player with Character if you get knocked out of a starting position you bust your arse to get better and get it back. You don't fold up like a lawn chair and be a whinny lil Beeotch.

Bray transferring after he just cleared the path of one obstacle and has only one serious one left to him starting? That would just be stupid on his part at this point.
