This is not Tennessee football. Plain and simple. Are any of you actually satisfied with what we are seeing? Anyone that honestly believes we should be patient after this debacle must not remember anything before 2008, in which case, I feel sorry for you. I don't post regularly and I've been trying to support the school I love through thick and thin, and still will. But this is absolutely piss poor, time for a change.

I had a former player just today tell me the exact same thing about Majors. Said he absolutely hated Majors.

It's never been a secret around campus. It's one of the reasons I've never understood those who said Majors got done dirty. What happened, happened in large part, because Majors wasn't exactly a nice guy to much of anyone.

He was one hades of a curmudgen and many of his players & assistants hated him, but to fans he was an icon and had one funny tv show. The rumor was there would be player revolt if Majors stayed HC and we lost Fulmer.

That's Steve White. He played in the Peyton Manning years. He was pretty solid, and a pretty prominent name if you ask me.

Yep. I never saw him as anything but an a$$ but that's me. I had a grandmother that loved him (followed the Vols since Moses was around) and hated Phil for what happened - not even when we won the BCS did her dislike for Fulmer abate. Hell I'll never be convinced that Fulmer didn't get fired in part because half the fans thought he'd schemed against poor innocent Johnny and were just waiting for the opportunity. Fulmer didn't come in with a clean slate with the entire fanbase the way most coaches do.

If you're too stupid, or lazy to run a google search on a player do us all a favor and go post on the 'Seventeen' website...or an Alabama board, seems to be a lot of newfound fans on their side these days...

Steve White was a part of Johnny Majors last recruiting class and started on the D-Line in 94, 95 and 96 I believe. Before eventually starting for the Tampa Bay bucs for a few years he's a lot more relevant than you clowns

Yikes. I started to quote the tweets and then realized how much time it would take to clean them up (vs being banned.)

But basically, he hated Majors, and he hates Dooley even more. He is NOT a happy ex-Vol.

My favorite tweet was him saying that Dooley losing Chuck Smith was his biggest mistake during his whole tenure...lol
