If you don't like him then don't read his articles or watch him on tv. I don't care what he says because I don't pay him any attention.

Smith is butthurt bc he's long said Brady is better than Manning based on post-season.
Well, that theory is now gone (PM 3:1 v TB in CGs).
Add in that every one admits (or accuses) PM of being the best regular season QB (damning him with faint praise), that PM has the Triple Crown (most Yds, TDs and Wins all-time), and an untouchable FIVE (5!) MVPs, and all the Brady supporters have nothing left.
Try Prep H, Steven A. (And send some to PM naysayer Terry Bradshaw).

I agree with him.

Story book endings are very easy to root for

Thank you! Everyone on here keeps talkin about race when the man said himself that it has nothing to do with black and white. It doesnt matter if it was Drew Brees or Aaron Rogers, ppl want to see Manning go out on top. These ppl on VN just love to gripe about nothing and put words in ppls mouths

Exactly. Cam has already long been the bad guy. It makes it worse that he's going up against the feel good story of the decade. I think his main thing was that no one likes Cam now, just wait and see if he takes this finale away from Manning.

How funny if Manning returned another year tho lol

Stephen A also said Peyton is half of what he used to be, but that is better than 80% of qbs still playing. He set the bar that high and was that great.

Maybe this doesn't have anything to do with black or white but that's hard to argue when everything else the man stands for is about black and white. Call it what you want and believe what you want. I believe the man is full of sh!t.

Stephen A Smith is a sorry excuse for a man. He will make a discussion about a turkey and cheese sandwich about how racist you are for not eating it on Wheat bread.....He is literally this dumb

1. Stephen A. is an idiot.
2. He's right about Cam. He's been called a thug, a bad role model (for freaking dancing), and it's been said that his smile is fake. People are still saying he can't throw when he's about to be the MVP. Like Sherman, he's a guy fans love to hate.

He is nothing more than a race baiting doucher who wants people to take him serious because he wears a suit. Yet, generally every point he tries to make is race driven but claims to be "above" racism. Cam Newton has secured himself as the "villain" because he is cocky and very arrogant, if he were blue he would still be the "villain". Which is something Steven A. Smith can't get through his head even when he tries to sound like a southern Baptist preacher.

With this your quote is truthful.

There are dozens of receivers that dance for first downs. Von Miller dances after every sack (and I love it). I hated Cam in college, but if people are still mad about things that happened nearly a decade ago, that's petty IMO

My sentiments exactly. He's cocky, but he can back it up. If he were average, I'd hate him too. But he's an amazing football player, and if you can't admit that, you're in denial.

He reminds me of Reggie Miller. He was a cocky SOB, but backed it up.

Wherever you clowns post about him on here or Twitter or wherever, you're just giving ESPN what they want. Just stop watching and he'll stop his "hot takes"

I'm actually amazed at how many people watch these type sports people as if what they think real matters. That stuff gets old quick!!!
