most definitely it's an overreaction. but i'm struggling finding a reason not to overreact. i'm willing to listen to alternatives though.

I don't think it's an overreaction.

I think it's the proper reaction to seeing countless other schools 1. Identify the coach they want. 2. Get it done in a reasonable, timely fashion.

We've been at this for three weeks and we have a list of "maybe they might be good candidates" while other schools have gotten who they wanted...while, whether it's Gruden, Kiffin, Leach, Miles, Sumlin, Gundy, Mullens, Kelly, Taggert, Frost, Tee Martin, Norvell, Strong, etc...we get guys that haven't been solid HC's before and the vast majority of those just mentioned didn't even interview.

I think it is fair to be unhappy, angry even, regarding the cluster F this search has been. If you aren't angry then you have let them make you apathetic, maybe numb.

I think you're right. If so I'm not wasting my time, effort or money on more mediocrity from UT, the fans deserve better. Regardless of who's running the show this coaching search has moved way beyond ridiculous.
