No. A coach wouldn't tell his team that before a game. They might have thought that but he didn't tell them IMO and if he did we would know that by now for certain.

Message boards lit up with "fire Steele" sentiment. We would be doing them a favor by hiring him. Not sure this is the best move for us, VFL or not.

They have been like this all year, unless he let them know before the season started. They are in a bad conference and his defense still gets beat up pretty regularly. He's an average DC but a top flight recruiter.

Steele isn't getting fired. If he is the next DC, which I doubt but if he is why fire him? You will have to pay his buyout. Where as if he leaves he would have to more than likely pay one.

Football Scoop thought is was Steele going into last night, but not sure after the Clemson performance.

I wondered the same thing, seems very possible with the huge egg that was laid. I think they may still be giving up touchdowns lol

Dang, I didn't notice the Bait Shop had closed too. That was the best place to get bait before heading to the lake.

They had a guy that worked there that looked like Popcorn from Moonshiners on Discovery Channel.

Hendersonville has grown way too fast, too much traffic with all the new development toward Gallatin. All the crap from Rivergate is heading east.

How Clemson fans feel about KS...Kevin Steele, pack your bags and get the (FULMERIZED) out of town. Nothing we saw from West Virginia is something they haven't shown to me in the 7 games I watched of them this season. The jet sweep was their best run play, and our guys looked like they had not seen it once. I think I watched more film than this football team did. hell we pointed these things out in our previews so the fans would know it was coming. Our linebacker's can't scrape or read keys, our DE's lose the C-gap every time, Safeties can't get up in run support or take angles in the alley, and then we can't tackle when we do. I'm well aware the Air Raid system is hell for a defense to prepare for, but you can't teach these guys fundamentals and I'm sick of it. I don't understand why because you've been a great LB coach everywhere just like Reggie Herring. Youre from SC. Youre a good recruiter. You've coached under the best defensive minds around, but you ain't gettin it done here. Record points given up in the Orange Bowl? Giving every offense that plays Clemson their best day of the year? Get out. Go to Tennessee.

Sources tell me that Dooley has talked with Kevin Steele today and there is a good chance Steele will be going to Tennessee.
