Steele: so many making the case makes me believe it’s going to be him…… people coming out of the “woodwork” hitting the same talking points…… I feel like I’m being sold a car……

I keep hearing Vol fans will be pleasantly surprised……

I agree we will be surprised. At how bad we will continue to be under Steele. If this is the best Fulmre can do then he can just resign now.

Fulmer had some opportunities to hire Steele as an assistant in the 90's but always passed. I don't think he hires him now.

Steele has a lot of friends and supporters in Knoxville that can create a buzz for him among the local media. That's probably where this is coming from. Can't blame him for lobbying to get his dream job as his last stop.

I'm expecting a last minute glitch that has UT hiring Steele. Martin as OC and coach in waiting. Chavis as the DC. Not sure where Sanders would fit but....

He's uh... won 25% of his games as a HC... wait, that's doesn't work, does it?

He's a VFL! YEP THAT'S IT! HE'S A VFL WITH A GREAT LAST NAME AND 25% of the time it works EVERYTIME!
