what a sad day for the team and its fans. i thought we might not win but i was hoping to at least be in the game and show some positive growth (like tackling). i am not sure what i am upset the most about.
1. the tackling still sucks and why cant we figure this out.
2. bray is a mess and a head case. i am starting to think Worley.
3. CP he was pissed tonight but good for him someone has shown emotion finally. maybe the rest can see it and start having some.
4. stone hands hunter. lets bench his ***. really come on catch the stupid ball not even the jets will take him and they even took tebow.
5. our DB's are slow enough said.
6. why is the defense so confused mid season and they have no idea of there coverage...hart really!!!!!
7 and the most important thought i have the coaching and play calling is crap and more crap. i am a arm chair QB and i called all the plays ahead of time before we ran them. if i can do that well, now we know why we are losing... creativity is lacking in the coaching staff along with there lack of coaching talent.

After the debacle that was his original hires, you'd think he would have learned his lesson. Instead he goes with another Saban assistant and radically changes his D coming into a year where the offense was going to put up points.

The more we see, the more I'm at a loss to explain what Dooley does well. He's not a good tactician. Not a good gameday coach. Not a good administrator of the program. And honestly an average recruiter.

So someone explain to me why he should be given another year?

Regarding the defense that Sunseri inherited, and that Dooley DECIDED TO CHANGE UP COMPLETELY:

"Sunseri inherits a Vols' defense ranked 27th nationally in 2011 (340.5 yards per game), 36th in scoring defense (22.58 points per game), 69th in rushing defense (162.67 yards per game), 12th in passing defense (177.83 yards per game)."
