Stats from the scrimmage

It's Hunter, only one with a black slip on his left leg.

It looks like 11 tho is on the outside and 21 was the one who caught it. Like i said i could be wrong and its really hard to see the numbers but it really looks like a 21 that caught it.

No catches for Rivera...guess our star WRs are just taking all the catches!

I don't think Rivera was in the scrimmage today. He injured his knee, I think it was. Not serious, though, and should be back to practicing before they start preparing for NC State.

More reps for Downs and the others.

Whoa. Our offense is explosively fast. Bray threw it, Rogers caught it and took it to the house in less than a second. No time ticked off the clock.

18 for 31?? Where's the awesome passing attack everyone has been so hyped about?

Here...for you...

Stats say 18 for 31 for only 189 yards. You can say I'm a negavol or whatever but the truth of the matter is if that doesn't become dramatically better I don't see very many SEC wins. First scrimmage though...hope it gets better.

Whatever negavol!:)

didnt one guy say there was some dropped balls? U get 3 more balls caught instead of dropped and ill take it everyweek. 21-31 for 220 or so and the running game they had, thats balance. also looks as bray is taking what is given instead of going deep every play.

Bray's completion percentage was 58% in the scrimmage and 59.5% last fall. We don't know how many of the 13 non-catches were Bray's fault and how many were the receivers fault, but several were the result of good DB's breaking up the passes.

Neither his completion percentage nor the 189 yards make me giddy. But I'm not worried yet.

You do understand the purpose of a scrimmage, don't you? It is to get better... not put on the best show. Coaches ALWAYS try to test guys as much as possible. Last year almost everyone panicked over Bray's scrimmage stats. Most panicked over Ainge's scrimmage stats the first year Cut came back. Both guys proceeded to go out and absolutely scorch their first opponents.

Just to add there are a lot of situational downs etc with practice as well which can make stats seem off. Team is and will be much better this year

I seem to remember people freaking out over Bray's stats from the 2011 O & W game as well as the scrimmages, but when the lights came on at the start of the season we saw that we have a pretty good quarterback with lots of potential.
