I think the ability to run the ball will solve a lot of our ills from last year on both sides of the ball.
1. Fewer three and outs.
2. More 3rd and short plays.
3. We'll get past the 50 yard line more, which means if we do have to punt, we can make them go the length of the field.
4. If our offense can keep moving the chains, we can start to wear down their defense. We didn't wear down many defenses last year.
5. If our offense can keep moving the chains, our defense can rest more and be fresher in the second half.
6. Takes some of the pressure off of Bray and the passing game.
7. Makes the fans happier.
