first post, long time reader tho.
Here's what comforts me about hearing these stats. We couldn't run the ball period last year, not even against montana, middle tennessee, or buffalo. Our 2nd team defense has to be close to the level of middle or buffalo. If we run good against them it has to be somewhat of an improvement.
Some thoughts.
Peterman as Tim Tebow looks like a failure by today's stats.
Watson had a 61 yard run and finished with 5 runs for 60 yards. The math says he didn't do well on his other 4 runs.
Jacob Carter picked up where he left off in the spring. Don't know if his 4 catches were against 3rd string corners or not.
None of the 1st or 2nd string DB's got an interception.
Maybe Palardy could be the field goal kicker this year we all want him to be.
