You know who else were quitters? Dave Duerson. Junior Seau. Andre Waters. They all committed suicide because of chronic traumatic encephalopathy brought on by concussions, but that didn't keep the University of Tennessee from sending Jalen Hurd back out onto the field with a concussion. He was told to go back out onto the field and he did. The elders responsible to look after Jalen took advantage of him because their job security was more important than Jalen's health. And we as fans get to celebrate the Dobbnail Boot, thanks in part to Jalen blocking on the kick return while playing injured. Yet, here we are acting like he owes us more when he doesn't owe us anything. He owes it to himself to get away from people who value game wins more than the health of his brain. It's pretty sad when a university and its alumni don't care about the brain of one of the students.
The truth and circumstances regarding Jalen's "concussion" are not known to the public if there was a concussion at all. The handling of it for good or bad by Jalen and the UTAD and staff are not known. You are putting forward pure speculation to once again turn the sXXX sandwich of Jalen Hurd's quitting mid-season into a warm fluffy chicken and biscuit victimization story. It's unpalatable and very few will buy it try as you may.
