The Vols do not have:
--enough size on the DL. UGA's offensive and defensive front dwarfed UT's OL and DL
--have any SEC caliber LBs on the field. Too small, too slow, too weak, or too inexperienced.
--have enough speed or size at safety. Warrior will come up and hit you but he is still too small to be an intimidator in the field.
--Enough speed, size or experience at cornerback either.
--a speed rusher on the edge
--any play makers on the defensive side.

This is the coaching staff's responsibility for not recruiting better and/or developing the players.

Georgia had more rushing yards against us than they did against Samford. Think about that

How did Shoop get so bad when he was so good at his other stops? Is it the players or the philosophy of the head coach? I just don't get it.

I thought Shoop loved to blitz and be disruptive. For some reason, we are not seeing that.

The offense going 3 and out in under 2 minutes doesn't really let the defense rest

To be fair GA tech and GA are extremely run heavy and good at it. The only team that will put up as many rush yards as them is bama

LSU? UK and Vandy can run too and are later on after our annual injury wallpaper is filled in.

As bad as Ga is, SC is worse. They better pack a lunch. The only way the 14 could be any longer for SC would be the time change. A whole extra hour to actually make it longer.

Sometimes I have no clue what you're talking about. Haha, this is one of those times.

Last year Didn't we give up like 400+ to Vandy, 440+ to KY, and 420 to MO all on the ground..........with what Tennessee is giving up right now..........we are in deep do do

Dubious.

What a strange record to need to consider?

D needs to dial it up a notch or 10.

BTW when is the time change?

Go Vols!

Time change is 11/5.

Ga. has 4-5 running backs who are better than anyone we have.(ex. Holyfield #4or5.
Their defensive line is the same, much better than ours and better depth. They have IMO the best 2 QBs in the league(pro style) Recruiting is how this happened. If we continue to recruit below Bama and Ga. and Fla. for that matter,we will continue to lose on a pretty consistent basis. Can the next guy beat those 3 schools on the players they want?Maybe maybe not,but you cannot win consistently with slightly even, inferior players.
