i know there is a new one of these forums up about every couple weeks, but it never gets old talking about who's gonna start at WR...
It's kinda hard to see 2 freshman WR's starting on any SEC team, but that very well might be the case this year..
my starting WR's:
1) Kenny O-Neil: The coaches have basically said they expect him to start right away, possibly at the # 1 spot..
2) Brent Vinson: he will be a freshman but he did go to prep school for a year.. So that's somewhat of a redshirt year.. He totally dominated at Prep level.. He's got all the tools to be great. Has a huge ceiling.
3) Quinton Hancock: Everyone keeps leaving him off the depth chart and i dont know why.. He played great in the Spring game, and the coaches said if he keeps it up, he'll be a top 3 WR this year.. that's what i see happening
4) Gerald Jones: possibly the biggest playmaker for UT this year.. Has been compared to a Percy Harvin type player, (Cutliffe even said this).. He's fast and physical, and smart, so that's why he can get alot of early PT..
5) Austin Rogers: I see him getting more PT than Taylor and Briscoe this year.. He's bigger, faster, and he's getting stronger and he is an extremely hard worker.. He is an athletic young man and he has alot more potential than what we give him credit for..
