So you don't think we will lose 3 games, eh? Well, you may be right. As loaded as we are, it is hard to imagine us losing at all. But I figured Bray may have a bad game, or two, and we may lose one close one in OT or something on the road. But you may be right. We may only have one or two losses. We are loaded for bear...no doubt about that!

I see what ya did there. I likey

Either this came from bleacher report or bigorangekoolaid.com

Hope this isn't the year muschamp strokes out on the sideline.

Lol@ urban meter lying about his health just to get away from florida. That must have been a slap in the face. Not as big as the streak vs you guys coming to an abrupt halt this year. How many games you think Florida loses this year. I'm thinking around 5. My how the "mighty" have fallen.

Why do so many people praise mizzou like they really rocked the college football world last year?

No joke. Those clowns are for a rude awakening. In the SEC we beat each other up week after week. Every game is a dogfight, and there are no easy games, even against the bottom half of the conference. "mizzou" isn't used to that.

With Palardy, and Darr for that matter, I hope our games don't come down to a kick in the final min. of the game.

We have the pieces to be a potent passing offense perhaps the most talented overall in the nation (USC obviously is up there as well). However, we had a crap kicking game, crappy running game, and now have a complete overhaul of the defense. People fall in love with the passing game but honestly we don't have the qualities of a good SEC team, sound running game, solid kicking/punting etc. Someone said it best in another thread we have a punchers chance against anyone with a healthy Bray/WR corp but we can drop just about any game in the SEC also.

I don't see the mizzou of today as highly as the (short lived) Mizzou success of the mid to late 00's. I think aandm and mizzy will be great adds to the SEC in say 5 or 7 years, but I don't expect a whole lot from them early. I mean look at how long it took arky and uscjr. to even matter in an sec breakdown.

I understand where ur coming from. ATP we aren't good enough to say they are an automatic win. They have some talent, solid coaching, and i won't be naive enough to think they can't beat us on any given Saturday.

Like I said...right now I can say we'll beat vandy and ky in SEC play with confidence. As the season starts I'll start to feel better about who else we can beat.

Mizzou has a better chance than the aggies do, so I think that's the reason why they come up. We aren't solid enough to think we can beat them ATP. We should, but I'm weary about being confident. I'm not going to say either way until I see how they play prior to our game, and how we play.

I'm confident it will rain footballs from the sky this year. Three very good receivers that any team will have trouble covering and a qb that can't wait to sling it around. We will average over 30 a game and not even sure if we will be able to run the ball. They just won't be able to cover us. The question is...can we play D? I say "Yes". We seemed to get better as the year went on and there are playmakers on that side of the ball too. Don't sleep on the new coaches and the effect they will have. The VOLS are back!

I am not saying we will win against mizzy, but I am saying our odds of winning are far greater than people here want to give credit for. I would just throw a random number that mizzou's chances in knoxville are 20 to 30%. Yet, there are some silly jack'n apes here that think mizzou will be in the top 3 in the division, and I find that just plain silly. Mizzou will be UK west, and yea I know we lost to Uk this year, but come on.... that is like once out of the past 27 something attempts.

Nothing wrong with what u said and I agree and have my fingers crossed. But again this all was suppose to happen this past yr too. I'm pumped about or coaching staff. Just not going to be a gitty about the potential until the games are over. That's all...

That was after the Cincy game. Before the season, no one knew how Da'rick, Hunter, or Bray would be. Most analyst thought Bray would be very inconsistent and they didn't expect Hunter or Rogers to have as big of an impact as they did.

Playing in Knoxville is going to be the biggest factor for sure. But by the time they get to us they r gonna either be beaten down (most likely) or they will have some confidence. Same can be said (in reverse) for us. They play bama and fl before us, so most likely beat down. But they will at least know what it's like to play in the sec by then. They have a tough schedule for sure in their first year.

Glad to see that bama will be playing a team with some talent before we play them. Maybe bang them up a little.

How anyone, including his own family doesnt realize this guy is a POS liar is beyond me! Loses his little Timmy and retires, then decides, "I cant do this to my coaching staff, I'll stay." Enter mediocre season and the health problems return, "I'm retiring again and promise my wife and kids it'll be for years to come." Enter free OSU tatts that makes the vest lose his job. Urb says, "I'm happy at ESPN, not going anywhere." Enter bad year for OSU and while OSU still has a coach, honest Urb negotiates his contract. Bye bye family, hello suckeyes!! What a great coach and ever greater man! :finger3:
