starting to hate 17

Weren't we favored by 17?

At least we hung on this time, i just lost 100.00 against the spread, but i won 200.00 against the bama spread, young team who knows what's going to happen, i really think the team and coaching staff will learn from this season, now if we blow huge leads against the so called elite team's in 16 like we did early this season then we got a problem that needs to be fixed, and even next season we won't or anybody else win them all in this league take 10 and 2 and move on to 17, look at bama's last 3 or 4 defeat's it was coaching this year after the Ole Miss game some of there fan's were calling for saint nick's head, if you really think about it any 3 to 6 point defeat can be blame on coaching i don't care who the coach is, but it feel good to be pissed after a victory because we didn't cover, remember last year 20 to 30 point blow outs i think we made progress a little bit, this team could be 9 and 0 or 3 and 6 very easy.:ermm:

My guess is Butch has a chart that says when you score 17 and are winning, play ultra conservative :)

I just canceled my subscription to 17 magazine before the season! Mind blown.

From this point on, I'll never listen to Winger's rock classic "Seventeen" in protest

That song was released exactly seventeen years before Fulmer's first losing season in 2005.:loco:

17 years ago we beat Bama by 17 points while being led by a quarterback wearing number 17.

Vols have lost four games by total of … 17 points… Unreal. But I guess that means no more losses, but because obviously the preordained number has been reached. :)

I already mentioned 1998, which was our last national title, but it was also our last SEC title, too.

I imagine it's a lot like that dweebie character in Dazed and Confused that has a plan to hit the guy as hard as he can in the mouth before everyone comes in and breaks up the fight, as he expects to happen. Our trumpet-playing head coach is that guy. He thinks he can build a 14- or 17-point lead and coast on in to the press conference. He's had this mentality in four games, three of which we lost. The sheep butchball massagers accept the excuse of youth but they'll need to believe a new one over the next few years. After all, it takes seven years to build a program for botch jones.

Daddy said she's too young, but she's old enough for me.
well putting two and two together here, and it's gotta be Wooderson "that's what i like about those high school girls, i get older, they stay the same age"
:eek:lol:
