Any word on who Bruce will start against the Cards? Like all of us, it seems he thought Prince had about 70% good plays and 30% bad plays.

He went with Ramar down the stretch though and Ramar stepped up.

I'm going to guess that he goes with Ramar because he will probably be more effective in breaking Louisville's press.

I agree, UL has a very tough press and Ramar, IMO, is the more gifted PG of the 2. Let's just hope that he doesn't make the mistakes that put him on the bench for the butler game

If Pear thinks he can throw off Louisville with a different look, he might start Prince. He was quoted as saying that was a factor in starting JP against Butler.

i don't know but I'm not sure that our PG problem is our biggest problem. This team is playing about about 70% of their capabilities. Our defense has stepped up but our offense has stepped down. Our best defense is our offense and lately it has been stagnant to say the least. At a quick glance it just seems that our chemistry is wrong but I can't a grasp of what it is. Maybe the PG is our biggest problem but I hope we can break out of our funk or else our boys will be unfortanely be packing their bags after Thursday.

I would say about 60% JP, and 40% Ramar. When Ramar is in there, it is more so to break the press and run the offense, adn when JP is in there, it is more for having a 5th scoring threat on the floor.

Ivtec Jrod I have to disagree. I think our defense is horrible and can not stop anybody lately especially at the PG position. We get beat constantly by quick PGs and lack of ability to cover 1 on 1 at that position has hurt us in the past 5 or 6 games.

It should definitely be split up somethin like this, though I think 60% Ramar. But JP should for sure be in there when we have to give our big scorers (chris, tyler, jajuan) a break, because Ramar just does not give us the scoring ability that JP does

Ditto that. Also, we're not getting the steals off the press and we're not creating turnovers at the perimeter -- both of which lead to easy buckets on our offensive end.

20 turnovers vs Butler is a lot. I don't know what the solution is, but that will get UT beat vs Louisville.

Ramar had more points in less minutes however he only had 1 assist to go with two turnovers. Prince had 5 assists but 6 turnovers....I'd say it's a toss up at this point....btw, for the record T. Smith had the most turnovers with 7.

TURNOVERS: 20 (T Smith 7, J Prince 6, D Crews 1, W Chism 3, C Lofton 1, R Smith 2)

J. Prince, G 31 4-5 1-2 5 7 5 3 9
BENCH MIN FGM-A FTM-A OFF REB AST PF PTS
R. Smith, G 18 4-8 0-3 1 3 1 4 8
