Starting over Day 1

This post is beyond laughable. You do realize Joker Phillips managed to take a program that had gone to 4 straight winning seasons, and take them to 3 straight losing seasons including a 2-10 season where they did not just lose games they got blown out. Mentioning that disaster up in Lexington in the same sentence as a coach with only one season where he had less than eight wins just makes you look like a clueless dumbass

Whats really sad about that is that we were one of Joker's wins. SMH

You do realize that Kentucky plays in the SEC right? Saben could not win at Kentucky not in today's SEC. I think you are not comprehending the question.

No, I'm comprehending it perfectly fine. You do realize like I said in my previous post Kentucky had four straight winning seasons before Joker got there.

2011&2012 trend stays the same Kentucky plays almost every game vs a top team in the nation. While Cincinnati plays games that maybe 5k people in the world care to watch play. Both won games they were suppose to win. And loose a few they were favored to win. I don't think there is that big of a difference. CBJ may be better but by how much?

When a team wins a national championship they do not reap the benefits until the next recruiting class. I say that to say this, UT will reap having a work horse at the helm next year. You have to build relationships with up and comers so you can sign them. They will. Look what he did in this class. He saved it and we have good enough talent to win 8 games. Or stated in a different way, we will be favored in 7 regular season games and a bowl win is 8. An upset gives us 9. That is our potential and Coach Jones will lead us to reaching our potential.

And I am scared to death about that WKU game. A lot of transition for Tennessee looking ahead to Oregon. Also watching WKU last year they have some good players not great but good. And have a far superior coach scary game.

Like I've said recruits don't ALWAYS look at simple wins and losses. They look at progress, and some also like the idea of putting a school "back on the map" when they have some tradition. Granted the 5* kids that want to "put a school back on the map" are far and few between. But look at North Smart, Humble, very talented kid. They are out there we just gotta find them. Those are the kids we need. And to those kids the W-L don't matter as much as some people think.

A lot of people have lost to Les Miles too, who I am convinced is a complete idiot of a coach. He's just surrounded by several good assistants, with TONS of talent, in a talent-rich area that's easy to recruit at. Cincy was no where close to where we were in talent. But with terrible coaching, we were terribly inconsistent. Last year, we lost by a combined ten points to South Carolina and UGA on the ROAD. Then, we lost by 30 at vandy... We just happened to show up good the day of the Cincy game.

Don't discount the fact that we got Cinci with a full roster, before the season was ended by critical injuries. Those looking to spew nothing but negativity seem to forget little details like that.
