I wonder what the starting OL will be now with Smith out? Who moves to LT? I think this is going to be a huge test for Pruitt. He has lost the best player on the team. Its going to be interesting moving forward. So thoughts?

How dare you bring football up on a football board at this time!?!?!? Are you souless!?!? Just kidding:) just thought I would join the pompous, self righteous brigade for a little while:) like you can’t still talk about where we go from here while still feeling for the kid and wishing him the best in every aspect of life... some people are such bafoons.

Richmond at LT? Man I dont know if thats a good idea. Maybe Hall could play there. Dont know. I have a feeling this is going to be a huge problem.

I think the same but with Tatum in?

Maybe but I dont if Tatum could just slide into LT. Thats the most important position on our OL. Smith was playing there, when he should have been at guard, because we didnt have anyone to put at LT. Now, it seems we lost the only guy that could hold down the LT spot.

Not sure Chance has the feet?! Niehaus seems athletic enough...jmo...

But yeah, huge hole to fill...

Chance Hall has bad knees. Unfortunately hasn’t been the same due to injuries.

Had the chance to be our best lineman besides Smith.

I don’t think he was best player on the team. He was playing out of position because I assume he was the best option we have. He was probably our best run blocker. But there were times people would blow right by him rushing the passer. There were a few times I can think of where JG got lit up from that side. They will probably have to have help from TE or back.

So I just watched the SC Texas game and I ain't gonna lie SC D is brutal. Our greatest weakness is our O line. From this game I can see JG getting sacked over and over. There offence doesn't look the best but they gave Texas a real game. I been watching KY, Mizzou, and Vandy as well and I think SC is gonna be very tough to win. Now that Trey is hurt can we hold the SC defense?

We are the NY Giants of college football. Bad OLs make it tough to have offensive efficiency and win at any sort of consistent level. I think we have a shot with next 5 games to do OK if they really block as a cohesive unit. We aren't devoid of talent, but we're going to have to play solid to get past SC.

Next man up! And tell tell him to hold'um, like many teams I've watched this year do on nearly every play. (pro and college)
