I know its pretty set in stone, and pretty obvious at most positions.. but lets just see what your thoughts are.

qb-ainge
rb-foster
WR-taylor, a rodge, hancock,
TE-brown,....
not completely sure of O-line.

Defense.

DE- Mitchell, Reynolds, Ayers
DT-Mapu, Bolden, Fisher
LB- Mayo, Karl, McCoy
Safety-Hef dawg, Parrish/McKenzie
Corner-Gaines, Johnson/Berry

P/K/KOS-Colquitt

KR-Berry? Moore? O'neal?

PR-HEF.. Moore?

Not really sure on the KR and PR

I thought the o-line was set. Parker, Young, McNeil, Foster and Scott.

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and guess the coaches promised Berry to start when he was recruited...

Hancock will not make the 3-man rotation. It will be Rogers, Taylor, and Briscoe/Moore IMO. Look for Jones and O'Neal to be behind those guys. Rogan will get a look at returns I think.

Berry is starting and Johnson is competing with Gaines now but it looks like Gaines. Not sure about Hancock think it is O'neal or Moore at the 3 spot. And the KR and PR I am not sure is solidified at all. The O-line is set, OTs Young and Foster. OGs Scott and Parker, at least until McClendon is healthy, C McNeil.

I think that he was promised significant playing time at some capacity, but I don't know about starting. Regardless, I think that he has earned it at this point. It sounds like it will be Gaines and Berry at CB. Anyone heard clear word on this?

So, does that mean that Berry will be lining up oppostie D. Jackson in Berkeley? Wow.

I cannot say but I thought of it too. And yes WOW. But maybe Berry mans up the other guy and the help with Hefney leans towards Jackson but I really do not know.

Maybe Berry shocks everyone and exposes Jackson as not being all that great.

Maybe. But I wouldn't be too confident of that happening. It could be a great battle, don't get me wrong. But, Jackson isn't bad - I don't care how you slice it. And while Berry is apparently awesome, he is sooo young. We'll see. I think that baca may have a point about cheating Hefney to Jackson and letting Berry man up the other side.

I didn't say bad. I said not great. Great players stand tall in big games. What did he do against us last year?

He is a year more experienced. And, I agree, you didn't say "not bad"...I did. But, I still don't feel comfortable putting a freshman in his first game up against a very good WR, even if he is not great....and his goodness or greatness still remains to be seen. I will stick by my original response. Wow.

I bet Berry is at least as good as Jonathan Wade and definitely better than Antwan Stewart RIGHT NOW.

It's cool. Don't get pissy. :good!:

Hardesty and Rogan were the KRs at the scrimmage and Hefney was returning punts.

The 3rd WR right now is Briscoe

Yeah, I heard McKenzie looked lost yesterday. He had good stuff until then. Maybe he was high.

Yeah he listed the three at every position but I understand what he meant. It does go to our depth. We are deep this year on D except at DT. But a lot of teams are having that problem. Can't make players get that big anymore, they are too smart want to live past 50.

At least as good as J. Wade is a bold statement (even though I know that not everyone here loved J. wade) for a freshman that hasn't played a game yet...I hope it is true.
