Starting Defense vs South Carolina

Dont know why Vickers and Vereen continue to start. Both have struggled this year especially Vereen. Shirley Kongbo, Phillips or Taylor colud give us just as much production.

Never have been impressed with Abernathy. He got the Def player of the week for recovering 3 fumbles and that is it.

I always thought that Kongbo looked more like a Helen.

Yeah you're right, he should have gotten four recoveries. What a bum.

This is why I don't trust Butch.........but do you guys remember how everybody raved about Nigel Warrior as they ALL said he will be an IMMEDIATE contributor on defense as he just has too many ball skills.........and we have yet to see him in any package on Defense........same thing goes for Tyler Byrd, however he has contributed on offense, but still they don't feed or feature him enough......just look how USC featured Adoree Jackson as a freshman......

You don't trust CBJ because message boards and recruiting services raved about Warrior and Butch doesn't use their advice for starting players?! Good gosh, you can't be serious hahaha. Adoree Jackson was a top 5 prospect nationally. We don't have a top 5 prospect nationally at any position on the field with the exception of maybe McKenzie or Malone but McKenzie just wasn't ready physically to start as a freshman. Malone has had a pretty good year but he still drops a lot of passes.
