Maze has upper hand on starting. West will be the back up. Tabb might even see some minutes here if West takes some time to adjust to the college game.
Off Guard
Hopson ends up starting. I think he will have more of an adjustment period than most think. He will not be an instant super star from day 1. But he is still too talented and too important to the program to not start. Tabb will get the bulk of the back up minutes at this spot. That could be a great offensive-defensive combination at this spot.
Off Guard
I see Tatum getting this starting spot. Prince is going to miss a lot of important development time after his surgery. Plus Prince is a much more one dimensional player than Tatum. Prince will get the back-up minutes at this spot. Tyler Smith could see some time at this spot, but he will spend a majority of his time at the 4 spot.

Tyler Smith has this spot locked down. There is a lot of talk about moving him to the 3-spot. But Pearl finally his a lineup with the length and athleticism to fully implement his style of play. Moving Tyler Smith to the 3-spot, moving Chism to 4, and with Williams at the 5 he would really hamper the style Pearl wants to play. So I see Tyler getting tons of minutes at this spot. The question is who gets the backup minutes. Childress and Woolridge will battle for these minutes, which is why Tyler will play a ton of minutes. Chism will see some time at the 4-spot, but not a lot.

Wayne Chism starts here, for the same reasons that I pointed out above. Williams gets the backup minutes here. This will be a very good 1-2 combo at the center position.
That starting lineup (Maze, Hopson, Tatum, Smith, Chism) gives us a lenghty, bouncey, very athletic group that can apply pressure on defense and run up and down the floor better than most teams in the country next season.
