Starters for Next years BB team?

a good game against Memphis last year, granted, but he's completely one-dimensional on offense. He's got to develop a right hand and jump shot, and it's a little late in the going for that. Plus, everybody we play will know his tendency. He could be an effective sixth-man, is a good athlete, but badly needs to expand his game.

I'd say..
Maze/West
Hopson/Tatum
Price/Tatum
Smith/Woolridge
Chism/Williams

I'm gonna say a 11 man rotation with Tabb being the 11th, and maybe 12 with Jurick.

I think with Tyler coming back there was probably a promise to showcase him more at the wing( his NBA pos)
Tyler is such a team before me type of guy that he would switch without griping one bit....so it will START like this.
B. williams
Wayne
Tyler
Hopson
Maze
This lineup gives you speed, rebounding, and lots of offense. Brian Williams will develop into an NBA type player, remember, this is just his 4th year of organized ball. Tatum gets forgotten about but he is a stud that may force Tyler back to the 4 slot in order to have your best 5 on the floor...WE ARE LOADED:dance2:

PG
Maze has upper hand on starting. West will be the back up. Tabb might even see some minutes here if West takes some time to adjust to the college game.

Off Guard
Hopson ends up starting. I think he will have more of an adjustment period than most think. He will not be an instant super star from day 1. But he is still too talented and too important to the program to not start. Tabb will get the bulk of the back up minutes at this spot. That could be a great offensive-defensive combination at this spot.

Off Guard
I see Tatum getting this starting spot. Prince is going to miss a lot of important development time after his surgery. Plus Prince is a much more one dimensional player than Tatum. Prince will get the back-up minutes at this spot. Tyler Smith could see some time at this spot, but he will spend a majority of his time at the 4 spot.

PF
Tyler Smith has this spot locked down. There is a lot of talk about moving him to the 3-spot. But Pearl finally his a lineup with the length and athleticism to fully implement his style of play. Moving Tyler Smith to the 3-spot, moving Chism to 4, and with Williams at the 5 he would really hamper the style Pearl wants to play. So I see Tyler getting tons of minutes at this spot. The question is who gets the backup minutes. Childress and Woolridge will battle for these minutes, which is why Tyler will play a ton of minutes. Chism will see some time at the 4-spot, but not a lot.

C
Wayne Chism starts here, for the same reasons that I pointed out above. Williams gets the backup minutes here. This will be a very good 1-2 combo at the center position.

That starting lineup (Maze, Hopson, Tatum, Smith, Chism) gives us a lenghty, bouncey, very athletic group that can apply pressure on defense and run up and down the floor better than most teams in the country next season.
