We need Maze. Our starting 5 should be the best we've ever had. Without Maze, our depth will be thin especially at PG. Luckily Hopson, Tabb, Tatum, Prince, Smith and Chism can play at least 2 positions. Our versatility and athleticism will be our biggest strengths. Good thing we have a coach like Pearl who emphasizes athleticism, pressure and versatility. West sounds like a future star so even without Maze we will be fine just a little shaky at first.

West or Maze, along with Smith, Chism, Hopson, and either Williams or Tatum. Looks like a very good team, although it sucks to lose Ramar.

disagree...ramar was a liability...couldn't shoot and if he was fouled...it was a adventure at the line....never relly impressed with him, don't see this hurting us much

I don't know about who will be starting, but I think our best 5 players will be (no order):

1. Smith
2. Maze
3. Chism
4. Prince
5. Tatum

Wooldridge and Jurck will not redshirt. There is no doubt that Wooldridge will have to step with Crew's absence.

Jurick will play some to.

The starting five boils down to if Tyler will play the 3 next year or stay at the four..
maybe since crews got booted, he might have to stay at the four.. because i was thinking that Tyler was gonna be the 3, with crews at the 4, and chism at the 5..
but i really dont know right now

jmo , but I think williams will be a liability on defense and possibly offense , his feet are just to slow . CBP will figure something out though , because he's GOOD .

Congrats on Hopson and probably Maze , very good players

I hope that Williams is able to transform his body a bit this summer and develop a quicker step and some better instincts.

... I said I HOPE. I am not wagering any money or holding my breath or anything. :whistling:

I think you nailed it. Totally agree with this lineup! Some people aren't very high on Prince. I think he will be a total stud the next couple of years.

Who comes off the bench will be decided by who gets in foul trouble most often, our bench is still going to be pretty deep

Prince will be a stud!!! I like the fact of our depth and choices. Shocked that a lot of people are negative in regards to his ability. This team will be FUN to watch-run and gun. Defense will be an issue. Another year will do Williams fine. Look at the progress the kid has made in a year-HE IS DEDICATED!!
