START WORLEY AGAINST USCe..

all of this silliness about our line being dominated by SC's baffles me. Our line is one helluva pass blocking unit.

It's because the talking heads have hyped Clowney so much(don't get me wrong, dude's a beast) that some of these guys swoon at the mere mention of his name.

Whoever started this thread is a complete MORON!! Worley is about 50% the quarterback Bray is. I would rather see Peterman if it came to Bray sitting out.

Does it really make any differnce who plays QB this weekend? If I were Dooley I would definitely go with experience. SC defense is tough....especially up front. And for those who havent seen CLOWNEY play this year .......He is a beast......Im not just saying it.....he is amazing. Good luck this weekend.

Starting Worley isn't going to make anything better.

Except to get Worley valuable experience for next year.

Bray ain't got it on the field, and his attitude stinks. Sad to say it, but it's just absolutely true! He has had many opportunities, but only pads his numbers against the weak sisters on our schedule while flopping badly against the rest of the SEC. He'll crumble against the pressure SCe will put on him...I'm not saying they have to sack Bray--they just have to rattle him and he's done!

Worley may not have a stronger arm than Bray, but he has the ability to think, stay calm, and find the open receiver. He needs the reps...we're going nowhere with Bray...I know our D has sucked, but we should be able to run the ball against SCe and catch them with play action. :salute:

Im with the op,lets see what worley can do.The best i can remember peyton didn't have the strongest arm,but was a decent qb.

instead of worrying about the qb, how about trying to hold the other team under 40?

that might be part of the problem.

Where was clowney against Florida ? Go play with your cocks . Start the Braby , let Worley come in the 2nd half to get some snaps.

Funny how we use to ridicule Crompton then Kiffin came in and he, Crompton almost beat Bama at Bama . Basically what I am saying I think Crompton beat USC,UGA and almost Bama whereby Bray and Dooley have failed. I would not mind starting Worley. Bray has had his chances and continues to lay eggs.

Is bray a bigger headcase than crompton in 2008? And how was crompton when he got his stuff together?

Bray may be down a bit but he has far less ground to make up than crompton. He can get it done. Maybe this is the week....

I like Worley bc he is strong enough and accurate enough to hit 20-30 yard passes. Worley is mobile and he checks off WR's. Bray drops back 3 to 5 steps and never looks off his target. Bray never moves around in the pocket. Bray has proven that strong arms are not enough. Mobility is huge....ie Clemson and West Virginia both have very mobile QB's. Tyler Shaw seems like a good kid but I'm afraid he is one lick from someone cracking the center of his tootsie pop. Gotta have mobility, able to take a hit, throw with accuracy 25 yards, and really make good choices with the ball. Tyler Ferguson could be that guy but its gonna take conditioning and maturity to get him there. He looks like a solid QB recruit.

Can you imagine this TN offense with T.Boyd as QB? It would help the run game even more. Just sayin. No disrespect to Bray but he is a good kid with a strong arm.

Nothing left to salvage with Bray...demote him and send him to the bench so that he can transfer to a 1-AA school and compete.

WORLEY would be playing at home in front of his SC family and friends and be pumped for the chance to beat USCe!

Worley has much more mobility and we will have to ROLL the pocket on Saturday to have a legitimate chance...We need to establish the run and rediscover the BOOTLEG play with a QB who can run...The Bray experiment is over!

Kiffin's worst and most hurtful legacy for UT will wind up being his running T. Boyd off to Clemson. With Boyd at QB we probably beat Fla and MSU...

And for all the Fulmer lovers...yeah--if we had kept him and played the schedule we have played over the last 3 yrs--Do ANY of you guys think that CPF would have been able to better than 7-5 for each season over that time? And would you have been satisfied with three 7-5 seasons in a row for the past 3 years?

Flame away.....:salute:

OP here...I was wrong about how I thought TB would play yesterday....Kid played a great game and well enough to earn the win for us! Please accept my confession of being wrong...I've been wrong before and will be wrong again...I really didn't think TB had anything to offer us--but he played a superb game. Way to Go Tyler Bray...keep up the good work.:salute: GO VOLS!
