START WORLEY AGAINST USCe..

Like I said, put Worley in, that will fix things in fantasyland. Replace an undeveloped guy with a great arm with an undeveloped guy with a noodle arm. Awesome idea.

Short of Peyton Manning it really doesn't matter who plays QB for this team. With Chaney running the offense it's going to be a uphill battle. He is the worst OC in the SEC. With the talent we have on offense a monkey could run it up against Akron and Georgia State. As bad as the defense has been I would still keep Sal before Chaney. If Sal had the talent on defense that Chaney has on offense he would do more with it. I think anyway.....

I agree changing players will not matter. Anyone focusing on players at this point, is lost.

Interesting responses....Where are all of you "experts" who have continually said that Bray is projected in the 1st round of the draft? Just what are his stats against SEC defenses? How many times has he missed open receivers, or just thrown the ball into the stands if his primary receiver is not open?

And YES--Frankenstein is more mobile than Bray and we will need it against SC's defense.

Anyway--ALL of you seem to have forgotten that it was WORLEY who threw a deep ball right into D'Brick's hands before halftime last year that would have put us up in that game. Accuracy issues? Go back and watch film of last year's SC game of Worley's throws...

And for the guy who saw irony in my comments about T. Boyd and Fulmer--Fulmer NEVER developed any QB--Cutcliffe did. I respect Fulmer--anyone who wins 152 games in the SEC deserves it--but with Fulmer, T. Boyd and in the absence of Cutcliffe we are not better than 7-5 or 6-6 for the last 3 years with our schedule and Fulmer at the helm...

And I'm not deterred by all the flames...and I'm not overly emotional about it...I've watched Bray now for almost 3 years and he just can't get it done--decent arm with a 10 cent brain. His INT against Bama in the end zone summarizes his inability to get the ball to the open receiver against the better SEC defenses! Underthrown balls, throws behind wide open receivers--not to mention that NFL caliber throw to the Bama LB that demonstrated his arm strength-just what was that? How could Worley be worse than that throw?

Watch the game again and then come back and tell me that we would be worse off in starting Worley against SC--in his home state--just what do we really have to lose?

Flame on....this is great comedy!

We've seen Bray against SC and Worley against SC in the past...I'll roll with Bray, thanks.

Really--okay, I'll bite...what was the score last year with Worley? What was the score with Bray?

And did you forget the drop by Da'Brick before halftime on a perfectly thrown ball by Worley? :salute:

if hunter caught that pass last week we might have a different attitude torwards bray

Nope---I might have a different attitude towards Hunter, but not Bray. Just wait and see--

I can remember when almost ALL fans thought that Casey Clausen was just as good as Peyton and was going to be the "bomb" in the NFL...but Casey NEVER improved over his sophomore season--and Bray ain't even in Casey's league!

Of course--Casey had a better overall team, but he didn't have better talent on offense than this team does. :salute:

I would have thought this to be foolish idea starting Whorley over Bray a couple of weeks ago but now I'm not so sure. Will Bray return for 2013....if not then why not start Whorley....I'm not so sure this squad can make great strides of improvement this year and I get the vibes Dooley has pretty much thrown in the towel.
Who thinks Dooley is a better Coach or Attorney?

Dooley mentioned if Bray keeps up the turnovers he may give him the hook.. SC can pressure the QB with the best of them.. We just may see Worley before that game is over...

Bray chokes under pressure. His head was a question mark entering the season. We thought maybe he had overcome it after NCSU.... then he folded vs UF, UGA, MSU, and Bama.

If my job is on the line... I'm going with the guy who "sucks" over the guy who chokes.
My observations is just like yours. Clowney pancakes him and he will want his bottle. I look for Worley in after the first quarter out of necessity.:eek:lol:

Nothing left to salvage with Bray...demote him and send him to the bench so that he can transfer to a 1-AA school and compete.

WORLEY would be playing at home in front of his SC family and friends and be pumped for the chance to beat USCe!

Worley has much more mobility and we will have to ROLL the pocket on Saturday to have a legitimate chance...We need to establish the run and rediscover the BOOTLEG play with a QB who can run...The Bray experiment is over!

Kiffin's worst and most hurtful legacy for UT will wind up being his running T. Boyd off to Clemson. With Boyd at QB we probably beat Fla and MSU...

And for all the Fulmer lovers...yeah--if we had kept him and played the schedule we have played over the last 3 yrs--Do ANY of you guys think that CPF would have been able to better than 7-5 for each season over that time? And would you have been satisfied with three 7-5 seasons in a row for the past 3 years?

Flame away.....:salute:

Man I am sure you are catching a lot of flack over this thread. I didnt take time to read everyone's remarks but I for one agree with you one starting Worley. Only difference between you and I is I have been saying it since UGA. Bray has had his chance. The dumb throws (bombs on 3rd and short, ints when other guys are wide open, etc....) just keep adding up. I hold my breath everytime he steps back to throw now. OBVIOUSLY he cant read a defense and never checks down. I dont care what your name is, if your not producing on the field and seem to be getting worse, your sitting. That goes for Hunter as well. I rather see Blank, Carter, Dallas, Rodgers, CP, and Drae go all out for a ball and make plays than alligator arm it to save yourself for the draft. PLAY for UT or sit. As for DD....:salute: Holla

I'm not so sure I'd start Whorley but if Bray doesn't play well to start, I'd sure bench Bray and let Whorley have a shot....if indeed this is Bray's last year...Whorley needs playing time. Thinking about it, this is Bray's 3rd season and his progression has been regression up to this point.
Maybe Bray's due for a breakout game against SC. It's about time we see some Vol Pride and toughness from this 3rd year QB

Yeah, I think Dooley has been too patient with Bray and Hunter. From what I read, their practices go wonderfully. But, game day, not so good.
