By extrapolation, if the second string quarterback in better than the starting QB, then the third string should be better than both!!:banghead2:

If I see one more thread about Bray starting ahead of Simms, I going to........

Well heck Why not just run the Wild-Hughes package . Just snap the ball to Montori and let him carry defenders on his back for 10 yards at a time. Who needs a qb? lol

oh so funny! lol..i like Simms confidence.in the press conference yesterday i believe it was he talked about learning to see the field better and knowing the situation better (pick 6) seemed very upbeat.

A serious quarterback question:

Of the entire coaching staff, the member I know the least about (and by default am the least impressed with) is our quarterback coach, Darin Hinshaw.

Anyone know much about him? Our qb situation will be critical to how this season turns out and that's his area of focused responsibility. Should I be glad or worried? Why did Dooley select him?

This might work Hughes was the only player still jacked up and hitting his holes reaching for the fans left to get up..I am with you! He wants it, give it to him!:):p:dance2::rock::lolabove:

Well u never know untill they are in the game. Hall of Fame guys like Steve Young, Tom Brady,Len Dawson,Kurt Warner were wrote off untill an injury to the starting QB forced them in.

The QB position is the hardest one to predict in practice.

the answer to our qb situation is justin hunter right now. seriously, he is a freak. when he gets his footwork down on his slants/fades/go routes its onnnn. oh, and i forgot to mention the biggest target on the team...STOCKER! the young qb's best friend, the tightend

I have thought of this as well. Who is Darin Hinshaw? I thought Chaney was credited with Crompton's turn around last season. I would assume he is participating in the QB development, maybe Hinshaw is being mentored by Chaney.

University of Tennessee Athletics Football

Seems like he has enough background to know the intricacies of playing QB. He set passing records at UCF but they did not last long because Daunte Culpepper was the next QB there.

Am a Nash Nance fan. Kid busts his hump and believes he'll play. Is nowhere near the dog being implied here.
