I’m not a hardcore star wars guy but i think it looks awesome.

I'm still too furious at Rian Johnson over the abortion that was TLJ. I've never left a movie so angry and frustrated. I have no hope for this one either since Johnson painted Abrams into a box with the last film.

Question for all.

Will palpatine appear in physical form or force ghost form?
I'm betting they go the clone route if he appears in physical form. That's probably the character Matt Smith is playing that they are keeping such a lid on. Anything the original actor does will be a force ghost. They did something similar in the expanded universe back in the day, where Palpatine's ghost possessed clone bodies to come back repeatedly.

Sounds like their are going to be multiple retcons on several of Johnson's crappy ideas.

I liked her parents were nobodies. Removing the bloodline backstory was a positive move for the Star Wars franchise.
I somewhat disagree but only because the whole franchise had been about family and that thread should be finished out imo. Johnson just wanted to try and subvert everything because that is who he is as a filmmaker. I'd rather go in non-family directions after this saga. I get why that direction is not for everyone though, definitely.

They’ve taken to calling it the Skywalker Saga and it still is with Kylo being the last in the bloodline. Rey doesn’t have to be related to anyone and it gives the franchise the push forward to the next chapter.
